A little about me... My name is Carol and I have been dealing on eBay since April 2000. I do as much buying, selling, and trading as I can...but not as much as I would like to. I was employed full-time at The Home Depot in Lansdowne, Maryland (a suburb of Baltimore). I was their lumber and contractor cashier and had a pretty demanding schedule to go with the demanding position. I had to be at work every morning at 5:45 a.m. and I worked every weekend, with the same hours. April 4th would be my 11th anniversary, but it didn't work out. I went out on Medical LOA on Nov. 29, 2005 with 2 bulging discs and 2 degenerated discs in my back, along with advanced spondylosis. It has now advanced to 3 bulging discs and 3 degenerated discs. Home Depot has a company policy that you are terminated after being out a year, no matter what the reason or problem. My short term disability exhausted, went into long term, which is ongoing, as back surgery seems to be unavoidable. I was aproved for Social Security Disability last spring, so all is not quite so bleak. As upset as I am with Home Depot,as a company, I cannot bring myself to give up my Home Depot/Vendor pin collection, which numbers about 2000 different pins. I welcome the chance to be able to trade with anyone who is interested. The Beanie Babies have gone by the wayside and I only have a few left, a few of which I am keeping....anything that is a MOOSE !!!! I guess the next thing to liquidate will be my Boyd's Bears RESINS. At one point I think I was less than 8 from having a complete set....so I do have MANY old and rare ones to sell. The way I do business... I treat all of my transaction partners the way I like to be treated when dealing with others. I notify all buyers as soon as possible after my auctions end and give them all the information they need to complete a quick, easy, and satisfying transaction. I leave their feedback and ship their item the same day I receive payment. I also email the buyer the same day that their item is shipped. I answer all emails in a timely fashion...almost always the same day...usually within hours, or less. The only thing I ask from my buyers is HONESTY..if you have a problem with payment...tell me...I will work with anybody. I hope I have been able to give you a little insight into my world.
